This scan also looks at superficial veins in the arms or legs if there are any blockage due to blood clots. However, the occurrence of blood clots is more common in the legs. This scan includes the assessment of femoral veins, sapheno-femoral junction, popliteal veins, sapheno-popliteal junction, and calf veins in your legs.
