Elite Community Ultrasound (ECU) is pleased to present the Rapid Gender Scan, exclusively for expectant parents who are 16 years or above and eager to discover their unborn baby’s sex only. This allows for early preparation in welcoming the new arrival with gender-specific arrangements. The scan is available from 15 weeks of pregnancy until 23 weeks 06 days.

This scan includes:

  • Expert gender determination!
  • Gender reveal events exclusively featuring LED lights.
  • Listen to your baby’s heartbeat.
  • Two printed black & white pictures of unborn baby.
  •  Option for upgrading to “Gender Scan, Gender Reveal Secret Celebration.
  • Assurance of a rescan is offered if the baby’s position prevents the gender from being revealed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What preparation do I need for Rapid gender scan?

You are required to have full bladder to get an adequate result. Therefore, you are required to drink one pint of water at least 30-45 minutes before your scan appointment.

What kind of clothing do I need to wear for this scan?

There is no specific requirement of clothing for undergoing this scan. However, wearing loose and two-piece cloths are advisable.

What happens during Rapid gender scan?

You will be asked to lie down on the scan couch(bed) comfortably. Our well qualified experienced specialist ultrasound Practitioner/Sonographer will put water-based gel on your lower tummy. Thereafter, they scan by placing the transducer (camera) over the gel on your lower belly.

What happens If your ultrasound practitioner/sonographer detects anything out of the ordinary during this routine check?

In this circumstance, the ultrasound practitioner or sonographer will provide you with appropriate guidance.

What is the duration of Rapid gender scan?

The duration of the scan is usually 10 minutes.
