No preparation is required.
There is no specific requirement of clothing for undergoing this scan. However, wearing loose and two-piece cloths are advisable.
You will be asked to lie down on the scan couch(bed) comfortably. Our well qualified experienced Consultant Radiologist or Consultant/Specialist ultrasound practitioner will put water-based gel on your scrotum. Thereafter, they examine the testicles and surrounding areas by placing the probe (camera) over them.
The duration of the scan is usually 10 – 15 minutes and sometimes can take up to 20 minutes for one side depends on the visibility of organs and complexity of scan.
