Bonding with an unborn child can significantly enhance emotional well-being during pregnancy. It fosters a sense of connection and attachment, which can reduce anxiety and stress. This emotional bond often leads to increased happiness and a positive outlook on pregnancy.
When expectant parents engage in activities like talking to the baby, attending ultrasounds, or even just imagining their future together, it helps them feel more involved in the pregnancy process. This active participation can alleviate feelings of uncertainty and fear, enhancing overall mental health.
Moreover, strong prenatal bonding is linked to better outcomes for both the mother and the child, as it can encourage healthier lifestyle choices and more attentive care during pregnancy. Ultimately, nurturing this bond can create a foundation for a loving relationship after birth.
No preparation is required.
There is no specific requirement of clothing for undergoing this 4d baby scan. However, wearing loose and two-piece cloths are advisable.
You will be asked to lie down on the scan couch(bed) comfortably. Our well qualified experienced specialist ultrasound Practitioner/Sonographer will put water-based gel on your lower tummy. Thereafter, they scan by placing the transducer (camera) over the gel on your lower belly.
The duration of the scan is usually 10-15minutes and sometimes can take up to 20 minutes depends on the position of your unborn baby and complexity of scan.
